Made some revisions to content based on what I learned at Advanced
HAZMAT Life Support Provider Course in Tucson, AZ on March 5-6. Topics
that the course emphasized included Decontamination, Irritant Gases, Simple
& Systemic Asphyxiants, Organic Solvents, Cholinesterase Inhibitors,
Hydrofluoric Acid Poisoning, and Antidotes.

Revised Quick Tour to reflect change in
Syndromes. Instead of Specific/Sensitive, Syndromes are now defined as
Common/Uncommon. Use "Common" (the default) when you want to find
all the diseases in which the syndrome is common. Use "Uncommon"
when you want to find those in which the syndrome may occur rarely as a
manifestation or complication of the disease.

Reviewed and revised all Category
A & B bioterrorism agents and all chemical/nuclear warfare agents
based on new references from USAMRICD, USAMRIID,
and REAC/TS. Added
"Incapacitating agents, acute effects" and "Radiation
sickness, acute" as two new diseases to raise the total to 201
diseases. Added two new syndromes: Cholinergic and Anticholinergic.
OutbreakID now supports an all-hazards approach in which each nuclear,
biological, or chemical threat is placed within the context of all threats
including natural outbreaks, warfare, and other occupational and
environmental diseases.

Added to bibliography USAMRICD, USAMRIID,
and REAC/TS after attending courses
at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Ft. Detrick, Maryland and Oak Ridge,Tennessee.
In the next few weeks, all diseases relating to chemical and biological
weapons will be revised. "Acute Radiation Syndrome" will be added
as a new disease.
